Gold prices in Baghdad have risen sharply, with a mithqal exceeding 900,000 dinars.

Foreign and Iraqi gold prices recorded a significant increase in local markets in the capital, Baghdad, on Monday.
The selling price of one mithqal of 21-karat gold (Gulf, Turkish and European) in the wholesale markets of Al-Nahr Street in Baghdad reached 908,000 dinars, while the buying price reached 904,000 dinars, after the selling price yesterday, Sunday, was 882,000 dinars.
The selling price of one mithqal of 21-karat Iraqi gold reached 878,000 dinars, and the buying price was 874,000 dinars.
In goldsmith shops, the selling price of a mithqal of 21-karat Gulf gold ranged between 910,000 dinars and 920,000 dinars, while Iraqi 21-karat gold recorded prices between 880,000 dinars and 890,000 dinars.
