The Mosul Municipality announced the launch of a series of urban and service projects in areas surrounding the city. It described the projects as a step toward improving the quality of life and developing infrastructure in areas that lack basic services.
Mosul Municipality Director Abdul Sattar Al-Habou explained in a press statement that this initiative comes within the framework of the local government's plan to enhance citizen stability and achieve sustainable development in various areas of Mosul, particularly those suffering from a lack of basic services.
He pointed out that the relevant authorities are working to include these areas in the project launch plan and accelerate its implementation, ensuring improved services provided to residents.
Al-Habou added that coordination between various government agencies enhances the municipality's ability to implement projects efficiently and effectively, stressing that priority will be given to modernizing the electricity and water networks in the agricultural areas surrounding Mosul, in addition to improving health and education services in villages and deprived areas.
