Governor of Baghdad: The Abu Ghraib sewage project will serve 300 thousand people

The Governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, confirmed that the Abu Ghraib sewage project will serve 300,000 people, while noting that the project comes within a package of strategic projects to treat sewage in the capital.
Al-Alawi said during the ceremony for Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to launch work on the Abu Ghraib sewage project, “The Abu Ghraib sewage project comes within a package of strategic projects to treat sewage in the capital, Baghdad,” noting, “Abu Ghraib district is one of the important districts in Baghdad due to its strategic location.”

He added, "The government has given the judiciary special attention within its governmental program," pointing out that "the Abu Ghraib project actually serves more than 300,000 people in the judiciary."

He pointed out, "The project comes within a series of projects for which the foundation stone was laid under the guidance of the Prime Minister, and we are soon preparing to celebrate the laying of the foundation stone for sewerage projects in Al-Wahda district and Al-Rashidiya district."

He stressed, "These projects constitute radical solutions to the suffering of citizens."
