A significant drop in gold prices in Iraqi local markets

Gold prices recorded a notable decrease in local markets in the capital, Baghdad, on Tuesday.
The selling price of one mithqal of 21-karat gold from the Gulf, Turkey, and Europe reached 883,000 dinars in the wholesale markets on Al-Nahr Street, and the buying price was 879,000 dinars, while prices recorded yesterday, Monday, were 905,000 dinars. Meanwhile, the selling price of one mithqal of 21-karat Iraqi gold reached 853,000 dinars, and the buying price was 849,000 dinars.
Regarding gold prices in jewelry stores, the selling price of a mithqal of 21-karat Gulf gold ranged between 885,000 and 895,000 dinars, while the selling price of a mithqal of Iraqi gold ranged between 855,000 and 865,000 dinars.
